Everybody prefers shoes that are not just any shoes but comfortable and healthy to wear on, stylish to show off and can be worn multiple times. Now what is comfort in regards to shoes? Comfort is a term which means how you feel with the shoes you are wearing on. Comfort also means how a shoe feels when you are out on the road or aisle doing what you routinely do.

If we are prone to joint pain in our knees, hips, ankles or lower back, we should definitely look for a well-quilted shoe that allows our foot to move naturally. 2. Right Size - The shape and size of the show must match to those of your feet else your feet can develop encrustations and might be deformed as well leading to serious chronic problems. 3. Footsies and Round Toes - Most importantly, know your feed. Oval toes, or even the square toes tend to be more comfortable than others.  They allow your toes to lay naturally, where other shapes might force your toes into an unnatural, and totally uncomfortable position.  FYI – Your toes shouldn’t be crammed into your shoes.

4. Try With Socks - Always try shoes with a pair of socks on if you are purchasing one which you would be always worn with socks. When you buy such shoes, let them be a little bigger than the foot in a peaceful state, because when you walk, the feet increase in size.

5. Take A Walk – Try on the new pairs while you are standing and by taking a few steps little around the store. The toe fingers must feel free so that their movement is not restricted and do check if there is enough space around the thumb on the inside to not distort the big toe. Also, when you walk the shoe adjusts itself, so for sure you would get to know if the shoe is the right size or if there are any other defects.

6. Rocking Flats – Flats look great with just about anything. They are comfortable and better for feet than most other shoes. They are that comfy that anybody would want to wear them. They look great with shorts, dresses, jeans and just about anything else you can think of. 

7. Buy In the Afternoon - Legs get stirred and feet swollen at specific times of the day so always get yourself one during the daytime. Feet swell to the maximum in the afternoon. Hence, a pair of shoes is most comfortable in the afternoon. Shoes shouldn’t be too loose and free as they can cause calluses and bruises on the feet.

8. Healthy - Although the shoes might be comfortable, stylish, durable and elegant, it should be definitely beautiful from an aesthetic point of view. Medically, they must comply with the right hygiene requirements to protect the feet from any sort of cramps, wounds or shocks and not to thwart the movements of everyday life.

All what matters is only comfort as it’s your feet that will suffer if you buy the wrong ones. But buying the right shoes will take care of your feet. The shoes are the ones that help you last a longer time. Your genes are more important than shoe styles when it comes to flat feet, bunions, or tight Achilles tendons. But choosing shoes that keep your feet feeling better and longer are a better decision. Having a knowledge of your foot type and having a basic understanding of the shoe terminology helps in picking the shoe that's perfect for you. Even before you put the shoe on, you should be able to do a quick inspection and have an idea as to whether it's a good choice or not. Of course, you should always try on any shoe you buy for fit and comfort. 

Choose well and wisely as a shoe should disappear on your feet when you walk or run without you noticing, then it’s doing its job.
